Technopark Istanbul is a technology development zone established under the main partnership of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Istanbul Ticaret University, and the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries. Approximately 2.5 million square meters of land has been allocated for Technopark Istanbul. The aim of Teknopark Istanbul is to create an ecosystem that supports R&D activities, innovation, and technological production through the services it offers, which in turn directly trigger entrepreneurship and the economy.
Istanbul Ticaret University Career Center aims to prepare students for their post-graduation careers by offering support training and seminars on topics such as innovation, technology, R&D, and entrepreneurship, thereby supporting their professional development as a contribution to the education they receive throughout their academic lives.
Our students, primarily those from the Engineering Faculty departments, conduct one of their monthly courses at Teknopark Istanbul. With the support of the Academic Staff teaching at the university, companies also participate in these module-based courses from time to time. Our project, named Teknoders, aims to contribute to the transformation of academic and scientific studies into high-tech products and to involve our students in this ecosystem. In addition, our students will be brought together with representatives of experienced and expert companies in the field of technology, and our students will be able to benefit from the knowledge and experience of these experts. Our university students will have the opportunity to continuously develop their knowledge in technology, which is the most important advancement of the future. Students with projects will have the opportunity to develop their projects directly with relevant expert personnel.
