The Career Day ’25 event, organized by our University Career Center, was held on May 29, 2025, at our Sütlüce Campus with great interest and participation. The event, which enabled our students to establish direct contact with the business world, provided an important platform for guiding their career planning.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ahmet Özer, Vice President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) Board of Directors; Dr. Erhan Erken, President of the İTO Assembly; Zeki Akbal, Member of the İTO Board of Directors; Dr. İsrafil Kuralay, President of our University’s Board of Trustees; and our Rector, Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek.
The event was also attended by members of our academic staff, including Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Elif Güneren Genç, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Rıdvan Şentürk, and Director of the Institute of Trade and Finance Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gencay Karakaya, who met with the students.
Throughout the day-long event, our students gained valuable insights into their career goals by having one-on-one meetings with representatives from various industries. It was a productive day for our students, who had the opportunity to learn about internship and job opportunities, share their resumes, and participate in informative discussions across different fields.
